Due to the many postponements this season, the two outstanding Capital
League games against Chesham United were played as a "double-header", with
the first 45 minutes counting as one game, and the second 45 as the other. Karl Lewis gave Northwood a sixth minute lead in the first match, but a goalkeeping error led to Chesham forcing a 1-1 draw.
In
the second-match, Chesham were always in control and ran out 3-1 winners.
Steve Watson scored the Northwood goal from the penalty-spot. Northwood had a blend of age and experience as they fielded several of the current successful Under 17 side in the match, while there was also an appearance by former Northwood defender Jason Zazzera as a second match substitute. James Shipperley and Dave Nolan both had a much-needed run-out. Luther Blissett had a ten minute run-out for the visitors towards the end.
